Our diligent reporters have discovered that Father Christmas aka Santa Claus will not be wearing a mask this Christmas and nor will he be social distancing. In a statement earlier today Santa Claus confirmed that he is unjabbed and relying on his robust immune system which has served him well for centuries.
He has confirmed that none of his reindeer have had any jabs either and although Rudolf still has a Red Nose it is not a symptom of a cold or flu, or in fact any other respiratory disease.
Father Christmas added that although he will be visiting everybody’s house on the night of the 24th December, there will be no need to worry about him transmitting any infections to anybody in the world.
On that basis he has requested that everyone still puts the mince pies and wine out for him as usual.
