New isolation deal – 7 days only

After some very tough negotiations the UK government has managed to reduce the isolation period required when it’s citizens test positive for Covid 19, and it’s variants. Only 7 days isolation is required whereas before 10 days of isolation were required.

A spokesman for Omicron said that this deal had been made specifically for those who have been vaccinated, in spite of the fact that they are just as likely to contract the virus as those who were unvaccinated .

The spokesman also reminded us that Omicron had been very fair with regards to Christmas and had promised not to be too dangerous on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The Omicron spokesman also said that he hoped that Santa would keep this in mind when he is checking his list this year.

A government whistle blower has confirmed that the UK government is still hoping to avoid a lock down straight after Christmas, but if the majority of the UK wanted a lock down they would get one. He also said that he was having difficulty putting the Christmas lights up at 10 Downing Street, due to the party that has already started and will continue until at least New Years Day.
